9 sleeps

9 sleeps and we will be on our way...... An early flight to Amsterdam gives us a couple of hours to see the sites, and sample the local food. Overnight flight then to Nairobi and the adventure begins, although maybe we should start the adventure on Sunday......... We are packing all the kind donations we have received, and which are being delivered daily to the site. Carl will be glad to have his stores back. Over the last couple of weeks we have taken items out of their packaging and we now have a Tesco crate full of pencils, we are doing well. Carl and I made a trip to Leicester last weekend and collected crates from Leicester County Council and also 2 Scout groups that have supported us. A very helpful Scout and a young Beaver posed for photo's as proof of the collection. Our trip T.shirts got their first airing, and wash and they don't run! Scarfs have now arrived, as have the 2 wreaths for the grave. Royal British Legion made the wreaths for us, ordered Friday, confirmed Tuesday delivered Wednesday hows that for service. Files for home contacts are coming along nicely. Just a few bits to confirm. Thats it for today, keep watching, its going to get a whole lot more interesting. Ann x
